The Holy Covenant School incorporates a service project each year to raise awareness and teach their students that, even at a young age, they can be community helpers. This year, partnering with Carry The Flag, the elementary students held a walk honoring military, veterans and first responders by dedicating each lap to a hero.

• Before the event there was a welcome table set up, providing nametags with “I’m walking for…” to collect pledges.
• Each lap they took around the school coordinated with their age.
• Family members who served were invited to come out to walk with their children.
• The walk provided the students a chance to interface with heroes and connect them to their service.
